Summary:     Trevor and Bongani formed a DJ'ing crew with dancers. The best dancer's name was Hitler, who didn't know anything about what Adolf Hitler did. Once, the crew was invited to a Jewish school's cultural program, and they chanted Hitler's name as he danced. The performance only ended up in a misunderstanding.  Theme:     Misunderstanding between different people can happen in unexpected situations.  My Story:     One day, my mother spontaneously bought me two t-shirts that had 'taste this peaches' written on it. I thought they were nice except for the grammar mistake they had. Since I didn't have many clothes to choose on, I just wore the t-shirts almost all the time, naturally wearing them to KnK too. Once, when I was back home from KnK, I found out that I got an e-mail from one of the teachers, saying that though I probably didn't know, 'taste this peaches' can contain sexual meaning in Western cultures.      In high school, Trevor could not hang out with any of the groups because of his race and him not having enough money. Therefore, he learned how to open up by using humor. He learned how to fit into every group and be all by himself too. From this, I think the theme of the story is that you can open up instead of going into a shell when you are the outsider.     I was not an outsider of the whole school, but there was this certain period that I could not fully fit into these small friend groups. It was because of the difference in interests. When they liked to take selfies, do make ups, wear accessories, and read webtoons, I was not. I was and still can be stubborn about my opinion if I'm sure of it, so I never tried to do things that they liked and fit in either. Going into the shell was not like me too.     Trevor had a dog named Fufi. Once he and his mother left the house, Fufi went to another boy's house. Trevor found this out, but that boy thought the dog was his. After some arguments, Trevor's mother had to pay the boy's family to get Fufi back.  From this, Trevor learned that you don't own the one you love.           I could relate to Trevor and Fufi's story. You don't own the people you love. They do what they want to do, and it's the same with you too. However, when I was much younger, I easily got jealous. Whenever my friends or my family played without me, I just didn't like it. They had to be with me. Thinking back, it was silly of me to feel that way, but I was really sad. As I got older, though, I learned that you can't be with someone all the time and that they have their own lives. Also, I just came to know that there's nothing really to be sad over. I have my own life, and they have theirs. We sometimes hang out but sometimes ...

      As a kid, Trevor was a naughty boy, misbehaving and causing trouble. He knew what he wanted to do and did it. Even though he was scolded and beaten for what he had done, he would get up again. From this, though  Trevor's story can be a silly example, I figured one of the themes of this story is getting back up from the past and keep challenging new things.     From silly things to serious things, times of failure or hopeless do come in life. As Trevor stated in the chapter, if these times come, it is  better to get up, shrug off what happened, and try again.     I've been learning Japanese for about three years. Now, I am continuously studying the language, but when I first tried to learn it, I couldn't. Though the grammar is similar to Korean, Japanese was hard to start because of its writing system. .................Hi!! 😂 This feels weird......... but oh well .......okay [Chapter 3: Trevor, Pray] Summary: One day, Trevor didn't want to use the outhouse, so he "defecated" indoors on some newspapers. Though he threw it away, his mother smelled it. In Trevor's town, people believed in witchcraft. Also, there were prayer meetings that only women and children attended. Therefore, Trevor's mother thought a demon cursed the house and gathered people to pray to God, not knowingly embarassing Trevor. Theme: I think one of the themes of this chapter is the connected or disconnected feeling that languages can give. In the story, people believed God would hear out Trevor's prayers first because he spoke English, so they asked him to pray for them. They thought God was white and spoke English. This shows how people can feel separated and different just because of the language they speak. My Story: I think language is certainly something that can make you feel both b...
